District Inquiry Program
Building on Strengths | 2025-2026

Our District Inquiry program supports groups of educators as they engage in collaborative professional learning using the Spiral of Inquiry.
To apply, one team member completes the following prompts on the District Inquiry Program Application Form on behalf of their inquiry team:
- List all inquiry team members.
- State your proposed inquiry question.
Applications are due October 31, 2025.
Teacher Inquiry Program
Participants are encouraged to apply for additional funding and support through the BCTF's Teacher Inquiry Program.
Learning Bursts
Participants have the option to attend the following virtual sessions on mondays from 3:30-4:00pm:
- November 24
- January 26
- February 23
- April 20
- May 4

NOIIE Symposium
Participants have the option of applying through the SSTA to use Professional Development funds to attend one or both days.
The 2026 NOIIE Symposium will take place on Friday, May 8 from 8:30am-4:30pm and Saturday, May 9 from 8:30am-12:30pm in Richmond at the Westin Wall Centre.
Sharing Circle
Participants are expected to attend our District Inquiry Program year end session which will take place at Howe Sound Brewing on Tuesday, June 2 from 5:00-7:30pm. Dinner and mileage are provided.
