PHE/SEL Lessons & Resources

The PHE/SEL Lessons and Resources are one-page documents created for each grade level that provide teachers with a “what lessons to teach when” outline.  These lessons have been curated by a team of counsellors and teachers within the Sea to Sky School District and complement the content section of the BC PHE curriculum.  Much of the social-emotional learning falls within this section of the curriculum; however, PHE specialists do not exist at each school site. Therefore, these lessons are not only meant for PHE teachers but for classroom teachers as well. Most classrooms are split grades, so ideally, teachers would meet with their teaching team to decide which of the one-page, grade-level lessons they will alternate between each year.
