Implementation Day 2026

Our Sea to Sky School District Implementation Day on February 13, 2026, will again focus on learning more about local Indigenous perspectives, language and culture.   

We are grateful to have had the support of both the St’át’y’emc and Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw Nations in the planning of this day. This year, staff who work in Whistler and Pemberton will be attending Whistler Secondary as the event venue, and staff who work in Squamish will be attending Don Ross Middle School as the event venue. The venue in the North will have a focus on St’át’y’emc perspectives and the venue in the South will have a focus on Sḵwx̱wú7mesh perspectives.

Optional Attendance (Advance Registration Required):

All Casual/On Call Sea to Sky School District Staff and Invited Guests

 

This includes:

  • Indigenous Education Council
  • Trustees

 

Optional attendees must confirm their interest in attending and select their location by Wednesday, February 11th.

 

All SD48 staff members who attend will be compensated for the day.
