For all Participants,
It is important for all participants to know that because the morning will focus on a traditional ceremony, there will be no formal break once the ceremony begins at 9:30. Please use the time between 9:00 and 9:30 to network with colleagues, use the washrooms and enjoy the morning refreshments. Folks are of course welcome to take individual washroom breaks during the ceremony if needed.
Please read through the below information, register for your afternoon workshop, and review the schedule of the day with all information provided.

Schedule of the Day:
- 8:30 AM – Arrival and Registration
- Participants are invited to arrive, register, pick up their name tags, enter the raffle, and enjoy light refreshments (coffee, tea, snacks). A map of workshop locations will be available at the front.
- 900 AM – Time for Networking and Connection
- It is important for all participants to know that because the morning will focus on a traditional ceremony, there will be no formal break once the ceremony begins at 9:30. - 930 AM – Opening Prayer, Welcome, and Introductions
- The MC will welcome everyone and introduce a Nation Elder, a Nation Education Representative, and a District Representative (Chris L. & Keaton). Cindy Lewis will lead the opening prayer and song, and we will begin our day with a ceremony.
- 12:00 PM – Lunch Break
- Cindy Lewis will offer a blessing for the food, and a feast song will be sung before everyone shares lunch together.
- 1:00 PM – Return to Large Group
- The MC will reconvene the group, share updates, and guide participants to their chosen workshop.
- 1:15 – Workshops
- Various workshops will run simultaneously, including weaving (wool and cedar), canoe, environmental/plant walk, language, art/painting, carving, forest walk, dancing, medicine bags, cedar rose making, traditional lands map, ambassador program, and MONOVA presentations.
- 2:40 PM – Reconvene in the Gym
- The day concludes with closing remarks and a collective thank-you to presenters. Each presenter will be called up and honored with a blanket.
- 3:00 PM – End of Day
